On our day of Simple & Safe Summer Tips week I wanna mention the signs of heat exhaustion and heat stroke 🥵 so you know what to do and when to seek help!
Signs of heat exhaustion include headaches, dizziness, excessive sweating, pale, clammy skin, fast breathing or pulse, or cramps in the arms, legs, or stomach.
If you or anyone are showing these symptoms, you can 😰 cool them down by moving them to a cool place having them lie down, get them to drink plenty of water, and cool their skin with a wet cloth, sponge, or ice pack.
⏰ If after 30 minutes they’re still not okay, they may have heat stroke and it’s time to get them to a medical professional!
🙅♀️ And never, ever, ever leave your pet in a car if it’s warm outside!
