Originally developed in the 1970’s, Tabata is not a new workout format, but it has been brought to new life by super trainer Autumn Calabrese in her recent program, 9 Week Control Freak! Tabata is a type of HIIT workout that lasts 4-minutes. More specifically, it's a 4-minute workout during which you do eight rounds of 20 seconds of work giving all you got followed by 10 seconds of rest.
