Okay so you have an hour before it’s time for you to workout. What do you eat beforehand to make sure you have the energy you need to do your best?
A. Something with a lot of carbs
B. Something with moderate protein
C. A low-fat snack
The answer? All of the above! 😄
If all you have is 30-60 minutes before you workout, something with all 3 of those components will help you fuel you during your workout. Examples include a banana with peanut butter, some nuts and raisins, or a peanut butter and strawberry smoothie! 🍌🥤
If you have more time before you exercise, you can add a little more protein.
